Ang?le Dubeau says she plans to return to the stage in September after treatment for breast cancer.

MONTREAL ? The Quebec violinist Ang?le Dubeau has postponed her spring and summer concerts to concentrate on her convalescence from breast cancer.
?I am lucky to have the support of my friends and family, and I can count on a fantastic medical team right here,? Dubeau said in a statement. ?Cancer can be cured, especially if it is diagnosed early. Mine was.?
The postponed concerts include planned tour appearances with her chamber ensemble La Piet? in Quebec and South America. Dubeau plans to return to the stage early in September during the F?te de la Musique in Tremblant, an event of which she is artistic director.
Dubeau will be giving no interviews during her time off. The former hostess of the Radio-Canada television show Faites vos gammes plays the 1733 Des Rosiers Stradivarius. She is married to Fran?ois-Mario Labb?, founder of the Analekta recording label.
