Intel just confirmed it's 4th generation Haswell Intel Core Processors at its press conference at CES. The Cores run at around 10W, and are designed to enable thinner devices. These are the Haswell chips we've been hearing about, and Intel promises they represent one of the largest improvements in battery life gain over a generation of the firm's history (they claim 9 hours typically). We've known about these since mid-September, but the chip-maker was keen to present these amongst all the other new goodies, as you can see in our liveblog.
